Taiwan-Thailand Smart Healthcare Conference Reshape the New Normal-Smart Technology on Precision and Regeneration Medicine.

Healthcare Moving Towards an International Community! In response to the government's promotion of 'New Southbound Policy,' Changhua Christian Hospital Medical Center held '2022 Taiwan-Thailand Smart Healthcare International Seminar' in Bangkok on 6th, to share relevant insights. Apart from keynote speeches, the event also invited participation from 15 Taiwanese smart healthcare companies. Drawing over 250 attendees from Thailand's healthcare sector, this event marks the largest post-pandemic smart healthcare seminar in Thailand.

AI precision medicine has become a prevailing trend in Taiwan's medical community. Following collaboration agreements with major universities such as National Chung Hsing University and Providence University, Changhua Christian Hospital Medical Center is committed to innovation in AI healthcare and talent cultivation. This year, its outreach has extended to Southeast Asian countries, actively implementing the Policy in healthcare. Dr. Anant Kanoksilp, Director of Information and Communication Technology Center at Thai Ministry of Public Health, expressed gratitude to Changhua Christian Hospital for its presence in Thailand. He anticipates more opportunities for exchanges and cooperation between healthcare manufacturers from both countries in the future.

At this seminar, invited speakers included Ms. Gao Xiaoling, CEO of Changhua Christian Hospital Overseas Medical Centers; Mr. Zhuang Shuohan, Representative in Thailand; Dr. Anant Kanoksilp, Director of Information and Communication Technology Center at Thai Ministry of Public Health; Dr. Poonpong Boonbrahm, Dean of Faculty of Informatics at Walailak University in Thailand; Dr. Teeraporn Sathira-Angkura, Nursing Consultant at Nursing Bureau of Thai Ministry of Public Health; Mr. Lin Zhilong, Acting CEO of Metal Industries Research and Development Centre; and Mr. Lin Yuzhun, Director of Industrial Bureau of Ministry of Economic Affairs, who served as guest speakers for the opening ceremony.

 

Gao Xiaoling mentioned that theme of this seminar, 'Reshaping the New Normal: Focusing on Application of Smart Technology in Precision Medicine and Regenerative Medicine,' highlights the use of big data and AI computation to not only enhance medical efficiency but also drive development of precision and regenerative medicine.

Fifteen relevant industry representatives were invited to share their AI applications in precision medicine and conduct product demonstrations on-site, including 5G technology, AI solutions, image analysis platforms, remote medical solutions, smart wards, etc., to achieve goal of information integration and sharing. The enthusiastic exchange with attending dignitaries brought about significant business opportunities for both sides.

Representative Zhuang Shuohan stated that smart healthcare is widely applied in information technology nowadays, and he hopes that through this event, there will be more opportunities for exchange and cooperation with Taiwanese healthcare manufacturers. Dr. Teeraporn, Nursing Consultant at Nursing Bureau, expressed hope that after relaxation of home quarantine in Taiwan, more nursing bureau officials could visit Taiwan to learn and exchange experiences on the application of smart technology in healthcare.
